bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 ran September 15–18 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida. Techwell is there.
Now in its 8th edition, the show sold out completely. 1,100+ exhibitors filled 1.45 million square feet of space. Organizers expect 75,000+ visitors from over 100 countries.
The last show in December 2024 had 984 exhibitors, 51,118 visitors and 83 countries. Growth in two years has been huge.
India’s federal public capital expenditure hit a record ~12.2 trillion rupees in FY 2026–27. A new program also launched to support domestic construction equipment manufacturing.
Germany, China, Taiwan and Italy all brought national pavilions. Bihar was the partner state. Buyer delegations from 15+ states showed up with clear procurement lists.
More notable than scale is how buyers evaluate equipment.
A few years ago, talks started with tonnage, power and spec sheets. Not this time. Indian contractors and fleet owners keep asking:
What’s the hourly running cost?
How much uptime can I get?
How fast do spare parts arrive if it breaks?
How far is your service point from my site?
Ravindra Tyagi, national president of the Builders’ Association of India, put it plainly in official show materials: For contractors, equipment is core project assets. When a machine goes down, schedules and profits drop together.
It sounds simple, but it changes purchasing priorities. Buyers no longer just ask what a machine can do — they ask if it can keep doing it.
That pushes once-overlooked solutions to the front: remote monitoring, predictive maintenance, and industrial wireless remote controls.
The logic is straightforward. For tower cranes, truck cranes, concrete pumps, aerial work platforms and underground mining gear — any site with blind spots, dust or collapse risks — moving the operator further away is the most direct safety upgrade. One remote system keeps a worker out from under suspended loads.

Three leading European industrial remote makers are exhibiting:
HBC-radiomatic at Booth H9.C31
Hetronic at Booth H12.P31
Tele Radio at Booth H9.A31
Tele Radio laid out its lineup publicly: the India-built TEQ Line, plus Panther, Tiger G2 and PAQ series. They cover construction machinery, mobile cranes, industrial cranes, mining and material handling.
They specifically highlighted faster delivery from local stock and local assembly, plus custom support for OEMs.
Notice the shift? No one competes on signal range anymore. The race now is delivery speed, local repair, and flexible OEM solution customization.
Find TECHWELL at Booth H1.E25. Frankly, we encourage buyers to visit all these booths in one day. Side-by-side comparison shows where the real gaps are.
These are not sample units. They are proven systems deployed in mass with Chinese OEMs for years.
Concrete pump remote systems, compatible with electro-hydraulic proportional valves from Sany, Zoomlion, Putzmeister and Schwing. India’s existing fleet is a real mix of brands. Actual compatibility beats extra lines on a spec sheet every time.
Control solutions for cranes and truck-mounted cranes, covering all tonnages and working conditions.
Remote terminals for aerial work platforms, available as full OEM packages or custom builds.
All products carry CE and ISO 9001 certification. Founded in 2005, we are trusted by XCMG, Zoomlion, CRCC and Zhenhua Heavy Industries, with years of field use across Europe, Asia and Africa.
Our frequency hopping spread spectrum technology delivers solid anti-interference. No dropouts even in ports and mines where dozens of machines run close together.
Last and most talked about this show: speed. We design and build transmitters, receivers and full control systems entirely in-house. Custom changes don’t wait for headquarters production queues. With timelines so tight, two weeks faster delivery often beats a 2% price cut.
No matter who you pick, ask these five questions for a fair comparison:
How do you guarantee no data loss when multiple machines work at the same time?
What standard does your emergency stop follow? Will the machine stop automatically if signal cuts out?
What is the IP rating, operating temperature range, battery life and replacement process?
Are spare parts, repairs, documentation and training available locally in India?
Can you customize valve interfaces, operation logic and panel labeling to my needs? How long does it take?
India is now the world’s 3rd largest construction machinery market, with a stated goal to hit 2nd by 2030.
The bar to enter this market has shifted. It’s no longer “can you make it?” It’s “can you deliver reliably and fix it fast?”
During the show, HyBiz TV’s team visited our booth and spoke with our sales engineer Bella.
